"MedMined - Provide hospitals with infection control surveillance via data mining technology to pinpoint nosocomial infection outbreaks and identify local changes in antimicrobial resistance.

MedMined fuses clinical expertise with expert data mining experience to provide services which improve patient care and reduce healthcare costs.

In 1994, a team led by Stephen Brossette, MD, PhD began development of data mining technologies specifically suited to the analysis of healthcare data. Over the next six years, they successfully developed patented technologies to monitor an entire hospital and community for emerging infection outbreaks.

In 2000, MedMined, Inc. was formed to provide data mining analysis and related technical, clinical and financial consulting services to the healthcare community.
