"Stucky Middle School, a grade 6-8 neighborhood school, opened in the fall of 2003. It primarily serves students living in the Buckner, Chisholm Trail, and Gammon neighborhoods between I-135 and Rock Road/Webb and north of 21st Street. There are approximately 700 students. Stucky is a Heights High School feeder school.

Stucky Middle School is one piece of the successful Bond initiative under the leadership of Superintendent Winston Brooks.
